Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

Turn the windshield wiper switch to the HIGH position.

The windshield wipers run continuously at high speed.

The windshield wipers do not run at high speed. Refer to Wipers High Mode Inoperative .

Turn the windshield wiper switch to the LOW position.

The windshield wipers run continuously at low speed.

  1. The windshield wipers do not run at low speed.
  2. The windshield wipers only operate at high speed.
  3. If the windshield wipers operate only at high speed refer to Wipers Low Mode Inoperative, High Mode Operates .

  1. Turn the windshield wiper switch to the INTERVAL position.
  2. Rotate the interval switch through its entire range.

The windshield wipers make one complete cycle and then delay from 0 to 25 seconds before repeating the cycle. The delay depends on the position of the interval switch.

  1. The windshield wipers continue to operate without any delay.
  2. If the wipers are inoperative in the intermittent mode, refer to Wipers Delay Mode Inoperative .
  3. If the delay is not adjustable in the interval mode, refer to Wipers Delay Mode Inoperative .

Turn the windshield wiper switch to the OFF position.

The windshield wipers return to the PARK position.

  1. The windshield wipers operate continuously. Refer to Wipers Always On .
  2. The windshield washer pump and wipers operate continuously. Refer to Washers Always On .
  3. The wipers stop out of the PARK position. Refer to Wipers Blades Do Not Park

  1. Turn the windshield wiper switch to the OFF position.
  2. Pull the windshield wiper switch lever to the MIST position.
  1. The windshield washer nozzles spray for approximately 2.5 seconds.
  2. The windshield wipers run at low speed for approximately 6 seconds.
  3. The windshield wipers return to the park position.
  1. The windshield washer nozzles do not spray.
  2. The windshield wipers do not run at any speed.
  3. If the windshield washer pump and the windshield wipers are inoperative refer to Wipers Mist Mode Inoperative .
  4. If the windshield washer heater nozzles are inoperative refer to Washers Inoperative .
  5. If the wipers operate and the washer pump does not operate refer to Washers Inoperative .
