- Before starting the engine, check the engine oil level.
- Start the engine and let it reach its normal operating temperature.

engine oil pressure warning system operates properly.

- The low engine oil pressure warning system does not operate properly.
- The low engine oil pressure warning is inoperative with low engine
oil pressure. Refer to

- Close the LH front side door.
- Insert the ignition key into the ignition switch.
- Remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
- Open the LH front side door.

warning does not activate.

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in circuits RM1 and/or
RM2. If these circuits are OK, replace the LH front side door jamb switch.
