Removal Procedure

    Notice: To avoid paint damage, protect the area surrounding the part which you are removing or installing.

  1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
  2. Open the door.
  3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Remove the front door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
  6. Remove the outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  7. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  8. Remove the front door window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  10. Remove the front door frame applique. Refer to Front Side Door Window Frame Rear Applique and Outer Weatherstrip Replacement .
  11. Remove the window channel retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement .
  12. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  13. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  14. Remove the front door inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  15. Remove the lock rod guide block. Refer to Handle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
  16. Remove the front door outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  17. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  18. Remove the front door body side molding. Refer to Body Side Molding Replacement .
  19. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  20. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
  21. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Replacement .
  22. Remove the front door hinge bolts from the door side. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment .

  23. Support the front door.
  24. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 604574 Size: SH
  1. Position the door with the aid of an assistant to the vehicle.
  2. Install the front door hinge bolts. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment .
  3. Remove the front door support.
  4. Install the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Replacement .
  5. Install the electrical harness to the door.
  6. Install the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  7. Install the front door body side molding. Refer to Body Side Molding Replacement .
  8. Install the front door lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  9. Install the front door outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  10. Install the lock rod guide block. Refer to Handle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
  11. Install the front door inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  12. Install the front door window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  13. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  14. Install the window channel retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement .
  15. Install the front door frame applique. Refer to Front Side Door Window Frame Rear Applique and Outer Weatherstrip Replacement .
  16. Install the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  17. Install the front door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  18. Install the front door window inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  19. Install the outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  20. Install the front door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
  21. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  22. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  23. Inspect the door for proper operation and alignment.
  24. Remove the masking tape.
