Make sure the transaxle is in the PARK position.
Turn the ignition switch to the START position and hold. Release when the engine starts.

•	The engine cranks and starts.

•	The SECURITY indicator lamp turns ON for approximately five seconds, then turns OFF.

•	Starter Solenoid Does Not Click

•	Starter Solenoid Clicks, Engine Does Not Crank

•	Engine Cranks/Cranks Slowly, but Does Not Start

If the SECURITY indicator lamp stays on or flashes after the engine starts, then refer to Diagnostic System Check - Theft Deterrent for further diagnosis and repair of the theft deterrent system.
