Has the Indicator System Check been performed?

Activate the high beam headlamp switch so that the high beam lamps are ON.

Are the high beam lamps ON?

--

Go to Step 3

Go to Headlight System Check

  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector.
  2. Connect a DMM between the instrument cluster connector terminal A2 and ground.
  3. Activate the high beam headlamp switch so that the high beam lamps are ON.
  4. Measure the available voltage at the instrument cluster connector terminal A2.

Is the voltage within the specified values?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 4

Check the instrument panel cluster connector and high beam indicator bulb for an open circuit.

Is the instrument panel cluster connector and high beam indicator bulb in normal condition?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Repair the instrument panel cluster connector or replace the high beam indicator bulb. Refer to Instrument Cluster Indicator Lamp Replacement .

Locate and repair an open or a high resistance in CKT 11 between the instrument cluster connector terminal A2 and C209 terminal K.
