With ignition OFF, check radio display.

THEFTLOCK does not appear on the display.

THEFTLOCK appears on the display. Go to DTC B1780 Theft Lock Enabled .

1. Turn the igntion ON.
2. Turn radio ON.
3. Operate all functions of the radio, including station seek and scan, and all tone controls.

1. Radio display turns on.
2. Radio turns on.
3. All speakers operate.
4. All radio controls operate normally.

1. Using the scan tool, select radio (IRC).
2. Select the data 1 menu.
3. Tune radio to a known strong FM station than to a known strong AM station.

The AM and FM station signal strength is 45 dB or greater.
