Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 295189 Size: SH
  3. Remove the retainer clip from the recliner motor end of the recliner shaft.

    4. Object Number: 295194 Size: SH
  4. Slide the recliner shaft out of the outboard side of the recliner motor sensor far enough to clear sensor.
  5. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector from beneath the seat.
  6. Release the sensor from the recliner gear drive case.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the sensor on the recliner gear case until the sensor snaps into place.

    2. Object Number: 295194 Size: SH
  2. Slide the recliner shaft back through the sensor and the gear case.

    3. Object Number: 295189 Size: SH
  3. Install retaining clip onto the recliner shaft.
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Install the seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
  6. Install the front seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  7. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration .
