Removal Procedure

1. Remove the seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
2. Place the seat upside-down on a clean, protected surface.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the motors.



4. Remove the drive cables (6) from the motors. Refer to Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement .
5. Remove the nut securing the front of the motor support to the inboard adjuster. Partially withdraw the assembly from the adjuster. Partially withdraw the assembly from the gear nut drives.
6. Remove the motors (4).

1. Install the motors (4).
2. Install the motor support bracket attaching nut.
3. Install the drive cables. Refer to Seat Horizontal and Vertical Drive Cable Replacement .
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Install the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
6. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration .
