Removal Procedure

1. With the aid from an assistant, remove the seat. Refer to Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Frame Replacement .
3. If the cable is equipped with a position sensor, remove the sensor retention clip and disconnect the electrical connector.

Important: Remove the drive motor fasteners in order to allow the drive cables to be removed without damaging the drive cables.

4. Remove the motor fasteners.



5. Squeeze the oblong connector at the motors in order to disconnect the cables.
6. A disconnect may also be made at the following locations:

•	The gearnuts

•	The adjuster drives

7. Pull the cable end out of the fitting until the cable end clears the fitting.
8. Remove the cable/sensor assembly.

1. Install the cable/sensor assembly by pushing the ends into the fittings on the motors until the clip snaps into place.
2. If the cable is equipped with a position sensor, install the retention clip and connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the drive motor fasteners.
4. Install the seat cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Frame Replacement .
5. Install the seat, with the aid from an assistant. Refer to Seat Replacement .
