Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 168374 Size: SH
  1. Remove the wind deflector. Refer to Sunroof Air Deflector Replacement .
  2. Remove the brush cover. Refer to Brush Cover Replacement .
  3. Remove the sunroof glass panel bolts (5) from each side of the glass panel.
  4. Slide the sunroof glass panel rearward 13 mm (1/2 in) and lift out.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the information/logo stenciled on sunroof glass panel toward the rear.
  2. Center the sunroof glass panel to the roof opening.
  3. Slide the sunroof glass panel forward 13 mm (1/2 in).

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the sunroof glass panel bolts (5) to each side of the sunroof glass panel.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the sunroof glass panel bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

  5. Adjust the sunroof glass panel as necessary. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .
  6. Install the brush cover. Refer to Brush Cover Replacement .
  7. Install the wind deflector. Refer to Sunroof Air Deflector Replacement .
