For 1990-2009 cars only
- Remove the brush cover. Refer to Brush Cover Replacement .
- Remove the covers from the right and left side that conceal the sunroof glass panel bolts.
- Separately loosen the sunroof glass panel bolts.
- Individually adjust the 4 corners of the sunroof glass panel.
- Adjust the front of the sunroof glass panel to 1.0 mm (1/32 in) below the top surface of the roof panel.
- Adjust the rear of the sunroof glass panel to 1.0 mm (1/32 in) above the top surface of the roof panel.
- Tighten the sunroof glass panel bolts.
- Install the covers to the right and left side that conceal the sunroof glass panel bolts.
- Install the brush cover. Refer to Brush Cover Replacement .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the sunroof glass panel bolts to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
