Removal Procedure

  1. Slide the sunshade to the fully open position
  2. Open the sunroof glass panel.

  3. Object Number: 168354  Size: SH
  4. Remove the wind deflector lift arm screws from the wind deflector lift arms.

  5. Object Number: 168356  Size: SH
  6. Remove the wind deflector by lifting the arms from the front locators pins.

  7. Object Number: 168357  Size: SH
  8. Remove the lift spring (1), if necessary.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 168357  Size: SH
  1. Install the lift spring (1), if removed. Place the lift spring under the wind deflector with the roll sided down.

  2. Object Number: 168356  Size: SH
  3. Install the wind deflector lift arms to the front locators pins.

  4. Object Number: 168354  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the wind deflector lift arm screws to the wind deflector lift arms.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the wind deflector lift arm screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Close the sunroof glass panel.
  8. Close the sunshade.
