Briefly press each of the seat switches as described:

    • Front Vertical: UP
    • Front Vertical: DOWN
    • Rear Vertical: UP
    • Rear Vertical: DOWN
    • Entire Seat: UP
    • Entire Seat: DOWN
    • Forward/Back: FORWARD
    • Forward/Back: BACK
    • Recline: FORWARD
    • Recline: BACK

The seat moves in the selected direction.

    •  Power Seat Inoperative

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Place the gear selector in the PARK position.
  3. On Buick vehicles, press the EXIT button.
  4. On Oldsmobile vehicles, simultaneously press the MEMORY-1 and MEMORY-2 buttons.
    • The left seat moves to the EASY EXIT position (fully down and fully back).
    • A single chime is heard.
    • The mirror positions do not change.

Power Seats - Memory Switch Inoperative

Momentarily press the MEMORY-1 button.

    • The left seat and both outside mirrors move to the positions programmed for MEMORY-1.
    • A single chime is heard.

Momentarily press the MEMORY-2 button.

    • The left seat and both outside mirrors move to the positions programmed for MEMORY-2.
    • A single chime is heard.

  1. Manually move the seat to the fully forward and up position.
  2. Press the SET button and then press the MEMORY-1 button within 5 seconds.
  3. On Buick vehicles, press the EXIT button.
  4. On Oldsmobile vehicles, simultaneously press the MEMORY-1 and MEMORY-2 buttons.
  5. After the seat stops moving, momentarily press the MEMORY-1 button.
  1. The left seat moves to the fully forward and up position.
  2. MEMORY-1 settings are stored for fully forward and up.
  3. The left seat moves to the EASY EXIT position (fully down and fully back).
  4. The left seat returns to the fully forward and up position.

Press the UNLOCK button on the keyless entry transmitter.

There are 4 personalized options for the keyless entry recall function (AU0). Test that the left seat and the mirrors perform the programmed option. Refer to Memory Seat Circuit Description .

The left seat does not perform the proper action. Refer to Remote Keyless Entry System Check .
