Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 1998 🢒 Park Avenue 🢒 Body and Accessories 🢒 Seats 🢒 Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 258553 Size: SH
  2. Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  3. Remove the seat back trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
  4. Release the J-channel from the following locations:
    5. • The top of the frame
    • The bottom of the frame
    • Both sides of the frame
  5. Disconnect the seat heater electrical connector, if necessary.

  6. Remove the seatback cover (2) from the seatback cushion (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 258225 Size: SH
  1. Align the seatback cover (2) on the seatback cushion (1).
  2. Press the seams into position.

    3. Engage the hook and the loop.

  3. Align the seatback cushion to the frame.

    4. Route the heated seat wire along the seat back frame, if necessary.

  4. Work the top and the bottom of the cover (2) over the seatback cushion (1).
  5. Latch the J-channel to the seatback.
  6. Work the sides of the cover (2) over the seatback cushion (1).
  7. Latch the J-channel to the seatback.
  8. Install the seatback trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .

  9. Install the head restraint support trim cover (6).
  10. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  11. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement .
