Removal Procedure

  1. Move the seat to the full-forward position.

  2. Object Number: 258218  Size: SH
  3. Remove the 2 rear bolts (1) that secure the seat to the floor pan.

  4. Object Number: 258219  Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear support covers (1,2,3).
  6. Move the seat to the rear.

  7. Object Number: 258220  Size: SH
  8. Remove the track cover (1) by performing the following steps:
  9. 5.1. Slide the cover forward.
    5.2. Unsnap the cover.
  10. Tilt the seat forward.

  11. Object Number: 258223  Size: SH
  12. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  13. Remove the seat.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 258223  Size: SH

    Important: Prior to installing the seat, verify that the area where the hooks engage is not deformed or raised. If the sheet metal is deformed, re-flatten the raised sheet metal using an appropriate device, such as a ball peen hammer.

  1. Position the seat in order to align the hooks in the slots.
  2. Tilt the seat forward.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.

  5. Install the front track cover (1).
  6. Move the seat to the full-forward position.

  7. Object Number: 258219  Size: SH

    Important: Install the rear adjuster cover (2) prior to driving the bolt in order to secure the seat. Ensure that the adjuster tongues are under the track.

  8. Install the rear support covers (1,3).

  9. Object Number: 258218  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  10. Install the 2 rear bolts (1) in order to secure the seat to the floor pan.
  11. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).
