Removal Procedure
- Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Remove the inner and outer belt molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Window Belt .
- Remove the window. Refer to Door Window Replacement .
- Remove the window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
- Remove the upper screw from the header.
- Remove the plug (3).
- Remove the bolts (2).
- Remove the window (1) by rotating forward.
Installation Procedure
- Install the window (1) into the door frame.
- Loosely install the lower bolt (2).
- Rotate the window rearward in order to engage the 2 clips.
- Install the screw in the header.
- Install the lower bolt (2).
- Install the plug (3).
- Install the window run channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
- Install the window. Refer to Door Window Replacement .
- Install the inner and outer belt molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Window Belt .
- Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
- Install the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
Tighten
Tighten the lower bolt to 9 N·m (72 lb in).
