Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 893746 Size: SH
  1. Remove the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front door sound insulator. Refer to Front Side Door Insulator Replacement .
  3. Remove the front door wiring harness. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door check link. Refer to Front Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  5. Support the door.
  6. Remove the front door hinge nuts and reinforcement plates.
  7. With an assistant remove the front door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 893746 Size: SH
  1. With an assistant position the front door to hinge studs.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the front door reinforcement plates and nuts to the hinge studs.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install the front door check link. Refer to Front Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  4. Install the front door wiring harness. Refer to Front Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  5. Verify the door is aligned properly at the header, the front A-pillar, and the rear appliques. If the door adjustment is required, refer to Front Side Door Adjustment .
  6. Install the front door insulator. Refer to Front Side Door Insulator Replacement .
  7. Install the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
