Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2014974 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Remove the speaker wire harness rosebud retainer from the inner door panel.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  4. Drill out the three rivet heads (2) using a drill with a bit diameter less than 4 mm (0.158 in).

    5. Note: Do not drill the rivet at an angle as this will cause damage to the drill and drill hole. Line up the drill and rivet, and carefully drill out the rivet head.

  5. Continue drilling and push out the remaining fragments using the drill.
  6. Remove the speaker assembly (3) from the inner door panel.
  7. Using a vacuum cleaner, remove the rivet fragments and shavings from the inside of the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2014977 Size: SH
  1. Install the speaker assembly (3) to the inner door panel.
  2. Using a riveter, install the front speaker assembly (3) with three new rivets (2).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (1).
  4. Connect the speaker wire harness rosebud retainer from the inner door panel.
  5. Install the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
