Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2016661 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (2).
  3. Remove the bolt (1) and remove the knock sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2016665 Size: SH
  1. Install the knock sensor with the bolt and tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    2. Object Number: 2016667 Size: SH
  2. Connect the knock sensor connector (1).

    3. Object Number: 2016659 Size: SH
  3. Install the intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement.
