Removal Procedure
  1. Remove intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2016491 Size: SH
  2. Using the ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), remove the ventilation valve (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2017142 Size: SH
  1. Apply adhesive (1) to 2 or 3 threads of the ventilation valve.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2016491 Size: SH
  2. Using the ball joint lock nut wrench (22 mm), install the ventilation valve (1) and tighten.
    3. • Without a ball joint lock nut wrench to 20 N·m (15 lb ft)
    • With a ball joint lock nut wrench to 10 N·m (7 lb ft)
  3. Install intake manifold. Refer to Intake Manifold Replacement.
