Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 279036 Size: MH
  1. Raise the window to the full UP position.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector in order to access the door handle rod. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the lower window channel retainer. Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement .
  5. Pull the lock cylinder rod in order to disengage the rod (1) from the door lock assembly.
  6. Remove the door lock rod (1) from the door lock cylinder.
  7. Remove the door lock rod (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 279037 Size: SH
  1. Install the door lock rod (1) to the door lock cylinder.
  2. Push the lock cylinder rod (1) in order to engage the rod to the door lock assembly.
  3. Install the lower window channel retainer. Refer to Door Window Channel Replacement .
  4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
