J 34940 Rivet Gun

Notice: In order to avoid damage to the inside handle or lock rods, remove the inside handle, lock rods and lock assembly as a unit.

1. Raise the window to the full UP position.
2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
3. Remove the inside handle rivet (1).
4. Slide the door inside handle (2) rearward in order to disengage the tabs.



5. Remove both rods (2,5) from the inside door handle (3).
6. Remove the inside handle (3).

1. Install both rods (2,5) to the inside door handle (3).
2. Slide the inside handle (3) forward in order to engage the tabs.



3. Install the inside handle rivet (1).
4. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
