- Position the rear door
window between the inner and the outer panels.
- Point the lower front corner of the rear door window down.
- Pass the rear door window through the belt opening.
Align the edges with the rear door window weatherstrip.
- Turn the rear door window to the horizontal position.
Align the holes in the rear door window with the holes in the rear door
window regulator.
- Ensure that both sealing lips on the rear door outer belt sealing
strip are not rolled over and pointing downward.
If this condition is present, the rear door window will not raise properly.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the bolt
to the rear door window regulator (forward bolt first).
Tighten
Tighten the rear window regulator bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
- Install the bolt to the rear door window regulator (rearward bolt
second).
Tighten
Tighten the rear door window regulator bolt to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
- Install the rear door window outer belt sealing strip. Refer to

- Install the rear door window inner belt sealing strip. Refer to
Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement

- Install the rear door inner energy absorber. Refer to
Rear Side Door Inner Panel Lower Energy Absorber Replacement

- Install the rear door water deflector. Refer to
Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement
