  1. Disconnect the right electric actuator.
  2. Start the engine.
  3. Run the engine at idle until warm.
  4. Set the heater-A/C control to AUTO 16°C (60°F).
  5. Use a digital multimeter (DMM) in order to measure the voltage at the right electric actuator harness connector between terminal 10 (circuit 1688) and ground.

Is the measured voltage within the specified range?

4 - 6 V

Use the DMM in order to measure the voltage at the right electric actuator harness connector terminal 5 (circuit 541).

Is the measured voltage within the specified range?

9 -14 V

Locate and repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 1688 (LT BLU/BLK) between S 245 and the right electric actuator harness connector terminal 10.

Is the repair complete?

Use a DMM in order to measure the voltage at the right electric actuator harness connector terminal 9 (circuit 1646).

Is the measured voltage within the specified range?

4 - 6 V

Locate and repair a poor connection or an open between splice S 206 and the right electric actuator harness connector terminal 5. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Wiring Repairs In Wiring systems.

Use a test lamp, connected to B+, in order to backprobe the right electric actuator harness connector terminal 7 (circuit 61).

Inspect circuit 1646 (DK BLU) for a poor connection or an open .

Locate and repair a poor connection or an open in circuit 61 (YEL) between S 258 and the right electric actuator harness connector terminal 7. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Wiring Repairs In Wiring systems.

Replace the right electric actuator. Refer to Temperature Actuator Replacement .
