- Lower the drivers window to prevent lockout.
- Remove the key from the ignition switch.
- Close and lock all the vehicle doors.
- Insert the key into either door key cylinder.
- Rotate the door key cylinder and unlock the door.

- Turn the ignition switch from the OFF to the RUN position.
- Close all the vehicle doors.
- Press lock then unlock on either door lock switch while observing
the door locks.

- Turn the IP dimmer switch to the OFF position.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the MALL PGM fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position.
- In order to enter the feature customization mode the BCM will
sound a chime a number of times equivalent to the BCM type installed on the
vehicle (1-4 chimes).
- Press and release the LOCK button on either door lock switch in
order to change the automatic door lock operation mode . The BCM sounds the
chime a number of times equivalent to the automatic door lock operation mode.
A transition past mode 4 repeats the sequence starting with mode 1.

- Reinstall the MALL PGM fuse in order to exit and save the current
customization modes.

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Reinstall the connectors.
- Reinstall the components.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the MALL PGM fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. The BCM chimes the
same number of times to the BCM type installed in the vehicle.
- Within one second, turn the ignition switch from the ACC position
to the OFF position then back to the ACC position. The BCM will sound any
DTCs that are stored.
