  1. Open the driver's door.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  3. Press the power button on the radio.
  4. Press any of the power window switches.
  5. Attempt to operate the sunroof (if equipped).
  6. Attempt to operate the power mirrors.

The following components do not operate:

    • The radio
    • The power windows
    • The power sunroof (if equipped)
    • The power mirrors

Retained Accessory Power (RAP) On After Timeout

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Turn the radio ON.
  3. Lower the driver's window.
  4. Open the sunroof (if equipped).
  5. Operate the power mirrors.

The following components are operational:

    • The radio
    • The power windows
    • The power sunroof (if equipped)
    • The power mirrors

Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Inoperative

  1. Close all of the vehicle doors.
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.

The following components remain operational for 10 minutes:

    • The radio
    • The power windows
    • The power sunroof (if equipped)
    • The power mirrors

NOTE: On vehicles with less than 15 total accumulated miles, the following components remain operational for 3 minutes:

    • The radio
    • The power windows
    • The power sunroof (if equipped)
    • The power mirrors

Retained Accessory Power (RAP) Inoperative

Within 10 minutes of turning the ignition switch OFF with all of the vehicle doors closed, open the driver's door.

NOTE: If the vehicle has less than 15 total accumulated miles, open the driver's door within 3 minutes.

    • The radio turns OFF.
    • The following components do not operate:
      • The power windows
      • The power sunroof (if equipped)
      • The power mirrors
