- Lower the driver's window.
- Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder.
- Close all the doors.
- Press the lock on the keyless entry transmitter.
- Wait 10 seconds.

- Reach through the driver's window opening and unlock the door
manually.
- Open the driver's door. The alarm should sound.
- Start the engine.
- Turn the ignition switch to OFF and press unlock on the keyless
entry transmitter to stop the alarm.

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Reconnect the connectors/components removed.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position for 6 seconds.
- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Remove the MALL PGM fuse.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ACC position. The BCM flashes
the fasten belts indicator and sounds the chime 4 times identifying the BCM
type installed on the vehicle.
- Within 1 second, turn the ignition switch from the ACC position
to the OFF position.
- Turn the ignition switch back to the ACC position. The BCM sounds
any DTCs stored.
