Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1335253 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear bumper impact bar. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .
  2. Remove the 2 nuts (1) attaching each of the rear bumper impact bar brackets (2) to the vehicle.
  3. Remove the rear bumper impact bar brackets (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1335253 Size: SH
  1. Align the rear bumper impact bar brackets (2) to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 2 nuts (1) to each rear bumper impact bar bracket (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear bumper impact bar nuts to 44 N·m (32 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear bumper impact bar. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .
