Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1335243 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear energy absorber. Refer to Rear Energy Absorber Replacement .
  3. Remove the 4 bolts (1) attaching the rear bumper impact bar (2) to the rear bumper impact bar brackets (3).
  4. Remove the rear bumper impact bar (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1335243 Size: SH
  1. Align the rear bumper impact bar (2) to the rear bumper impact bar brackets (3).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the 4 bolts (1) attaching the rear bumper impact bar (2) to the rear bumper impact bar brackets (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the rear bumper impact bar bolts to 44 N·m (32 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear energy absorber. refer to Rear Energy Absorber Replacement .
  4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .
