Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1950965 Size: SH
  2. Remove the compressor drive belt idler pulley to compressor mounting bracket retaining bolt (2).
  3. Remove the compressor drive belt idler pulley (1).

    4. Object Number: 1950969 Size: SH
  4. Remove the compressor mounting bracket to cylinder block retaining bolts  (1).
  5. Remove the compressor mounting bracket (2) from the cylinder block (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1950969 Size: SH
  1. Position the compressor mounting bracket (2) to the cylinder block (3).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the compressor mounting bracket to cylinder block retaining bolts (1) and tighten to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 1950965 Size: SH
  3. Install the compressor drive belt idler pulley (1).
  4. Install the compressor drive belt idler pulley to compressor mounting bracket retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
  5. Install the compressor. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement.
