Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the shift control knob and boot. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Boot Replacement .
2. Remove the center console trim plate. Refer to Console Replacement .
3. Remove the park lock cable from the shift control. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement .
4. Remove the control cables from the shift control. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
