Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
    • The engine coolant temperature (ECT) gauge indicates the current engine coolant temperature.
    • The fuel gauge indicates the approximate fuel level.
    • The oil pressure indicator illuminates.

Start the engine.
    • The oil pressure indicator turns off
    • The tachometer indicate the engine speed.

Run the engine until the normal operating temperature is reached.

The ECT gauge indicates current ECT.
