Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 181953  Size: SH
  1. Loosen and lower the rear of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Carefully disconnect the rear window antenna cable jumper from the rear window antenna connector.

  3. Object Number: 362096  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the rear antenna extension cable from the antenna amplifier.
  5. Disconnect the electrical harness extension from the antenna amplifier.
  6. Remove the antenna amplifier retaining screw.
  7. Remove the antenna amplifier with jumper.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 362096  Size: SH
  1. Install the antenna amplifier with jumper into position.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the antenna amplifier retaining screw.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the antenna amplifier retaining screw to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical harness extension to the antenna amplifier.
  6. Connect the rear antenna extension cable to the antenna amplifier.

  8. Carefully connect the rear window antenna cable jumper to the rear window antenna connector.
  9. Install the rear of the headliner securely into position. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
