GM Service Manual Online
For 1990-2009 cars only

The hinges are bolted to the door and to the body. The door side hinges have elongated holes which allow for some adjustment in the following directions:

    • Up and down
    • In and out
    • Fore and aft

In order to minimize door realignment, do not remove both door hinges at the same time. Do each hinge separately. Replace any broken hinges first.

Removal Procedure
