Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 294278 Size: SH
  1. Position the sunroof sunshade to the full rearward position.
  2. Remove the screws from the sunroof window.
  3. LIft the sunroof window from the sunroof module to remove it.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 294278 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure that the information logo stencil on the sunroof window is at the rear of the opening.

  1. Position the sunroof window into the sunroof module.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the sunroof window screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the sunroof window screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Adjust the sunroof window. Refer to Sunroof Window Height and Opening Fit Adjustment .
  4. Inspect the sunroof window for proper operation. Refer to Power Sunroof Operation .
  5. Reposition the sunroof sunshade to the orgional position.
