Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the wiper motor module. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement .
  4. Remove the wiper motor crank arm. Refer to Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement .

  5. Object Number: 206250  Size: SH
  6. Remove the wiper motor screws.
  7. Remove the wiper motor from the wiper motor module.
  8. Remove the wiper motor splash shield from the wiper motor.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 206250  Size: SH
  1. Install the wiper motor splash shield to the wiper motor.
  2. Position the wiper motor to the wiper motor module.
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the wiper motor screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the wiper motor crank arm. Refer to Wiper Motor Crank Arm Replacement .
  7. Install the wiper motor module. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement .
  8. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  9. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  10. Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
