Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  2. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Disconnect the wiper motor electrical connector.

  4. Object Number: 70091  Size: SH
  5. Remove the wiper motor module upper bolt.

  6. Object Number: 70104  Size: SH
  7. Remove the wiper motor module bolts.
  8. Remove the wiper motor module from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 70104  Size: SH
  1. Position the wiper motor module to the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the wiper motor module bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 ft in).

  5. Install the wiper motor module upper bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 ft in).

  7. Connect the wiper motor electrical connector.
  8. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  9. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Windshield Wiper Arm Replacement .
  10. Inspect the wipers for proper operation.
