This internal VICS memory test in internal to the navigation module (NAV).
The navigation module (NAV) tests the VICS memory, processor and antenna system when it detects a power mode transition to ON.
The navigation module (NAV) determines there is an internal error in the NAV.
DTC B2466 does not set if DTC B1328 or B1327 is current.
• | Last VICS information is displayed if requested. |
• | Limited or no VICS information is used in route guidance. |
• | VICS switch may not be displayed on the screen. |
• | This failure has no effect outside the navigation system. |
A current DTC will clear when the navigation module (NAV) does not detect the failure during the last power mode transition.
Cycle the ignition switch even after a successful inspection with a scan tool in order to initialize the system.
