Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 305758 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Console, and Gauges.
  3. Remove the retaining screws from the defroster duct.
  4. Remove the defroster duct.
  5. Disconnect the temperature sensors from the duct.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 305758 Size: SH
  1. Connect the temperature sensors to the heater duct.
  2. Install the defroster duct.
  3. Install the retaining screws to the defroster duct.
  4. Install the instrument panel assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Console and Gauges.
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
