Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 1998 🢒 Seville - RHD 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Automatic 🢒 Blower Motor and Fan Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 292059 Size: SH
  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the IP compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Remove the dash integration module (DIM) from the bracket.

    4. Lay aside the DIM.

  4. Remove the 2 rearward screws to the DIM bracket.
  5. Push upward the bracket.
  6. Remove the front carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Roll back the left front corner of the carpet for clearance.
  8. Disconnect wire harness retainer clips from the blower motor.
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the blower motor.
  10. Remove the blower motor retaining screws (1).

  11. Rotate the blower motor.
  12. Remove the blower motor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 292024 Size: SH
  1. Rotate the blower motor in order to install the blower motor into the housing.

    2. Object Number: 292059 Size: SH
  2. Install the blower motor retaining screws (1).
  3. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the blower motor.
  4. Connect the wire harness retaining clips to the blower motor.
  5. Lay the from corner of the carpet in the original position.
  6. Install the front carpet retainer. Refer to Carpet Retainer Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Push down the dash integration module (DIM) to the original position.
  8. Install the 2 rear screws to the DIM bracket.
  9. Install the DIM to the bracket.
  10. Install the IP compartment to the instrument panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  11. Install the left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left (RHD) in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
