Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Service Precautions in the Preface section.

  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.

    2. Object Number: 401802 Size: SH
  2. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove the seat bottom frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Support Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors (if equipped).
  5. Remove the remaining seat cushion cover J channels from the seat bottom frame.
  6. Remove the seat cushion cover.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 401802 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat cushion cover onto the seat cushion foam.
  2. Connect the seat cushion cover J channels to the seat cushion frame.
  3. Cut the hole for the seat switches, if necessary.
  4. Connect the electrical connectors (if equipped).
  5. Install the seat bottom frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Support Replacement .
  6. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  7. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
