Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Service Precautions in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 547163 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to Disabling the SIR System in SIR.
  2. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  3. Remove the front seat cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Support Replacement .
  4. Remove the seat back frame. Refer to Front Seat Back Frame Replacement .
  5. Transfer the motor assembly components (1-4) (as needed).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 547163 Size: SH
  1. Transfer any remaining seat components (1-4) to the new adjuster frame:
    2. • The lower retractor
    • The wiring
    • the clips
  2. Install the front seat cushion frame. Refer to Front Seat Cushion Support Replacement .
  3. Install the seat back frame. Refer to Front Seat Back Frame Replacement .
  4. Install the front bucket seat. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System in SIR.
  6. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration .
