Diagnostic Aids
An intermittent or poor connection can cause the express open feature of the sunroof not to operate. Refer to Testing for Electrical Intermittents and Intermittents and Poor Connections Diagnosis in Wiring Systems
Test Description
The steps below refer to the test steps in the diagnostic table.

Connect a 3 amp fused jumper to the open circuit and express open circuit of the Power Sunroof Slide Switch, then connect to ground for less than 1 second. If not done correctly, the express open command will not function.
