The following components must be replaced as an assembly:

1. Remove the overhead console from the headliner. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
2. Remove the screws attaching the sunroof switch to the overhead console.
3. Remove the screws attaching the vent switch to the overhead console.

Important: Care should be taken not to pinch or bend the flat wire harness.

4. Remove the six clips retaining the flat wire harness to the courtesy lamps.
5. Remove thew flat wire harness from the courtesy lamps.
6. Remove the screws attaching the UGDO structure to the overhead console.
7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the UGDO structure.
8. Remove the interior lamps control knob by pulling outward on the knob.
9. Remove the screws attaching the interior lamps control switch to the overhead console.
10. Carefully push out the three courtesy lamp push buttons through the alignment holes.
11. In order to remove the lamp switches, slide the three courtesy lamp switches towards the front edge of the overhead console.
12. Remove the assembly from the overhead console.

1. Insert the three courtesy lamp switches into the overhead console.
2. Slide the switches rearward, in order to secure the switches to overhead console.
3. Press the three courtesy lamp buttons inward, until two snaps are heard.
4. Install the screws attaching the interior lamps control switch to the overhead console.
5. Connect the electrical connector to the UGDO structure.
6. Install the screws attaching the UGDO structure to the overhead console.

Important: Care should be taken not to pinch or bend the flat wire harness.

7. Install the flat wire harness to the courtesy lamps.
8. Install the six clips retaining the flat wire harness to the courtesy lamps.
9. Install the screws in order to secure the vent switch to the overhead console.
10. Install the screws in order to secure the power sunroof switch to the overhead console.
11. Install the overhead console into the headliner. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
