Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 291677 Size: SH
  1. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to one of the following procedures: Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the bezel from the ignition lock cylinder, by releasing the retainers.

    3. Object Number: 291678 Size: SH
  3. Slide the reader/exciter (4) from the ignition lock cylinder housing (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 291678 Size: SH
  1. Align the reader/exciter (4) with the ignition lock cylinder housing (1) and install the cylinder bezel.
  2. Install the ignition lock cylinder bezel.
  3. Install the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to one of the following procedures: Ignition Switch Lock Cylinder Replacement in Instrument Panel Gauges and Console.
