Did you perform the Instrument Cluster Diagnostic System Check?

  1. Disconnect the washer fluid level switch connector.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to RUN

Measure the voltage between connector terminal B (BLK) and ground.

Is the measure voltage within the specified range?

10-15V

Go to Step 5

Inspect CKT 99 (BLK/WHT) for an open or a short to ground.

Is the wiring OK?

Repair the wiring on CKT 99 (BLK/WHT).

Did you complete the repair?

Measure the voltage between the connector terminal B (BLK) and connector terminal A (BLK).

Is the measured voltage within the specified range?

10-15V

Inspect the following connectors for proper terminal contact:

    • The instrument cluster connector terminal C2
    • The in-line connector C201

Are the terminals OK?

Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .

Inspect CKT 1250 (BLK) for an open.

Is the wiring OK?

Repair the open on CKT 1250 (BLK).

Did you complete the repair?

Inspect the in-line connector C201 for the proper terminal contact.

Is the terminal OK?

Inspect the washer fluid level switch connector for the proper terminal contact.

Replace the washer fluid level switch.
