Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 105547 Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument panel upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
  2. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the four fasteners (3) from the instrument panel cluster to instrument panel retainer.
  4. Partially remove the cluster.

    5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1) on each side of the instrument panel cluster.

  5. Remove the instrument panel cluster (2) from the retainer.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 105547 Size: SH
  1. Set the instrument panel cluster (2) partially into the retainer.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors (1).
  3. Align instrument panel cluster to retainer.

    4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the four fasteners (3).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the cluster fasteners to 1.5 N·m (14 lb in).

  5. Install the instrument panel cluster trim panel. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Install the instrument panel upper trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Pad Replacement .
