Inspect the IGN 1 Fuse in the rear fuse block for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Inspect the I/P fuse in the rear fuse block for an open.

Is the fuse open?

Repair open or short to ground in CKT 1039 (PNK).

Did you complete the repair?

Repair open or short to ground in CKT 440 (ORN).

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect IPC connector C2.
  3. Use a DMM in order to measure voltage from the IPC Connector C2 terminal A1 CKT 440 (ORN) to ground.

Is the displayed voltage within the specified value?

10.5-165V

Go to Step 7

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Disconnect IPC connector C2.
  3. Use a DMM in order to measure voltage from the IPC Connector C2 terminal A3 CKT 1039 (PNK) to ground.

Is the displayed voltage within the specified value?

10.5-15V

Go to Step 8

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Use a DMM in order to measure voltage from the IPC connector C2 terminal A1 CKT 440 (ORN) to terminal B6 CKT  351 (BLK/WHT).

Is the displayed voltage within the specified value?

10-15V

Go to Step 10

Repair the open in CKT 351 (BLK/WHT).

Did you complete the repair?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Use a DMM in order to measure voltage from the IPC connector C2 terminal A1 CKT 440 (ORN) to terminal B7 CKT 450 (BLK).

Is the displayed voltage within the specified value?

10-15V

Go to Step 12

Repair open in CKT 450 (BLK).

Replace the Instrument Cluster (IPC). Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
