Removal Procedure

    Caution: When working with any type of glass or sheet metal with exposed or rough edges, wear approved safety glasses and gloves in order to reduce the chance of personal injury.

  1. Move the window to the full down position.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the door window inner belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Remove the door window garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear door front window channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement .
  7. Loosen the two bolts from the window retainer clips.
  8. Pull the window up to clear the retainer clamps.
  9. Reposition the window all the way forward in the door.
  10. Pull the window run channel out of the retainer.
  11. Remove the large plug to access the lower retainer bolt.

  13. Remove the lower bolt from the division post.

  14. Object Number: 334532  Size: SH
  15. Remove the three remaining fasteners.
  16. Remove the rear door stationary window from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 108010  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear door stationary window into the door.
  2. Seat the stationary window against the door frame.

  3. Object Number: 334532  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the three fasteners in sequence.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the stationary window fasteners to 5 N·m (44 lb in).

    • Top fastener first.
    • Lower fastener second.
    • Middle fastener third.

  6. Install the division post lower bolt.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the division post lower bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  8. Install the run channel into the retainer starting at the center-pillar and working across the header.
  9. Working downward from the center-pillar install the rest of the run channel.
  10. Install the window into the retainer clamps on the window regulator.
  11. Slide the window into the stationary window run channel.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the window retainer clamp bolts to 11 N·m (98 lb in).

  13. Install the rear door front window channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Front Channel Replacement .
  14. Install the rear door window garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  15. Install the rear door window inner belt molding. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  16. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  17. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
