J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .



3. Using the J 38778 remove the push pins.
4. Remove the rear door frame garnish molding by pulling the molding away from the door window opening flange.

Important: Reinstall any clips that pull off the garnish molding, and replace any broken clips if the garnish molding is going to be reused.

1. Install the rear door frame garnish molding (1) to the window opening.
2. Engage the six clips to the door inner panel flange.
3. Install the two push pins into the locator holes in the door panel at each end of the garnish molding.
4. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Door Trim Panel Replacement .
